Friday 23rd December-Old Edwardians Floodlit Rugby Game:

THE OLD EDWARDIANS versus Stratford RFC Exiles at Pearcecroft, kick off at 7.30pm.
Whilst a very successful School v Last Years' Old Boys Match was held on 9 September 2011, this other fixture which has run for several seasons allows a broader age group of KES ex-pupils to enjoy a seasonal game together at the local club. The Old Edwardians name was derived from the School's original Old Boys' Club which became incorporated into the Stratford Club after the Second World War.

Nick Leach, Joe O'Leary and Mark Hibberd are organising the fixture so if you want to turn out with your boots contact Nick Leach tel:07876 162696.
Alternatively, just turn up on the evening to spectate and enjoy the conviviality of the club bar. A good start to the Christmas holiday!

Saturday 4th February-Annual Reunion Dinner:

The 2011 dinner was held in the School`s Levi Fox Hall and was a great success. This is a large venue and could accommodate many more members and guests. Let us try and encourage as many old boys as possible to attend in 2012, so to swell the number of members of the association.

The Speaker in 2012 will be Mr Andrew Marsden, a retired Head Master and peer of the KESOBA President, Patrick Taggart.

After the issues with weather and the Postal service last year, we will send out the Invitations before Christmas with a special Newsletter in November which will be sent again at the start of January.
Put this date in your diary!  Booking Form

Saturday 21st April-Shakespeare's Birthday Celebrations:

The Birthday Celebrations will follow the traditional form,to support the School's dedication to the memory of its most famous Old Boy. The celebrations will take place on Saturday,21st April: the School's procession will set off from outside the Guild Chapel at about 11.50 a.m. It is traditional, though not essential, to carry flowers to Holy Trinity Church: perhaps flowers from your garden are most appropriate, but local florists will be happy to oblige! Lunch arrangements to be advised, but previous years, a room has been made available at The Falcon.

Thursday 5th July-Golf Match

A very enjoyable evening was held at Stratford-on-Avon Golf Club on 21st June,2011 when a team of Old Boys played a team of 4 Masters and 4 Students representing the School for the annual golf match, contested over 9 holes. The weather was good and the course was immaculate.

The Old Boys team won comfortably due, in part, to the fact that a good number of the team play regularly at the course.

The match was followed by a convivial supper, when the teams were joined by President Patrick Taggart, Deputy Headmaster David Gajadharsingh and five non-playing Old Boys, here for the Benefactors events.

We all look forward to 2012 when the match might be extended to 18 holes.

Contact KESOBA President or Secretary for details if you wish to take part in 2012.
